Blueberry Lemon Moscow Mule

Recipe: 
Produce
  • 1 zest of lemon Large
  • 1 C Wild frozen blueberries
  • .5 oz ginger
Condiments
  • 1 C sugar
  • 1 C of water 
Baking & Spices
  • 1 TBS Raw Ginger 
Frozen
  • 1 Ice
Beer, Wine & Liquor
  • Ginger Beer
  • 2 oz Vodka

To make: Made a simple syrup using 1/1/1 ratio of water, wild frozen blueberries, and sugar
About a TBS of raw ginger (about a thumb amount), and the zest of a large whole lemon added to the simple syrup 

Bring to a boil and then simmer for 5-8 minutes. Let simple syrup cool completely.

For two drinks:
2 shots of unstrained simple syrup 
2 basil leaves 
-Muddle in the shaker
Add 4 shots of ice cold vodka
Just shy of .5 oz ginger liquor

Shake at least 30secs
Strain into 2 copper mugs with crushed ice
Squeeze 1/2 lemon into each mug (1 lemon total) 
Top with 1/2 can of ginger beer in each cup (1 can total) 
Lightly mix
Bruise/smash b/b fingers 1 Thai Basil leaf and add to the top (do not skip this step) of each cup
